Introduction:
First aid management and emergency responses to medical conditions are important knowledge components of Enrolled Nurses. However, responding to such emergency situations can be stressful, and as such, having a stress management plan developed is extremely beneficial in these circumstances. This case study written assessment task focuses on first aid management, devising a DRSABCD action plan, manual handling, and the development of a stress management plan. It provides you with the opportunity to communicate your understanding and knowledge of the principles and practices underlying these nursing skills.

To complete this assessment task, please follow the below steps:
1.Read the below case study featuring Fei Hong and answer the short answer questions presented and complete the stress management plan found under the assessment tab on Blackboard.
2.Present your own original work using multiple academic references from academic books, peer reviewed scientific journal articles and other credible sources (.edu, .gov and .org web pages).
3.Academic references are to be included on a separate page using APA (6th ed.) guidelines.
4.Your assessment must be submitted as a word document and not in protected view.
5.Your assessment should be in 12-point font, Arial or Times New Roman, 1.5 line spaced and a minimum of 2.5 cm margins.

You will be assessed according to the marking guide below, where your responses will be deemed as either satisfactory or not satisfactory. ALL your responses must be marked as satisfactory in order to pass the assessment. If your assessment is not deemed satisfactory, you will be allowed additional attempts as per the Assessment Policy for VET before being awarded an unsatisfactory result for the assessment.
