You are to write a response to the two scenario questions. Include in your response an analysis of the management of the scenario incorporating theoretical concepts and principles and the relationship to nursing practice reasoning and presentation of rationales.
Scenario One – Transition in scope of practice from student to Registered Nurse :
For this scenario you are required to identify how your Scope of Practice will change from a student nurse to a Registered Nurse with regards your clinical decision making. How will you manage this change?

This is an AM/Early shift. You are a Registered Nurse (RN). You are working in a clinical area that uses Team Nursing. You are working with a Bank RN who is new to the area. You are the Team Leader. After bedside handover, you discuss with the RN the plan for today. The Bank RN says they are not comfortable looking after these patients due to the acuity and unfamiliarity of the environment. You note that two senior RNs are allocated to work together elsewhere on the ward. How do you manage this situation?
