Being a nurse you are expected to communicate with clinicians Nurses GPs specialists or other allied health professionals about your patient’s medical condition(s) on a regular basis.
This assessment task will help you to gain skills about what types of information you should include in an information sheet when communicating with a clinician.

The intended audience for the information sheet is a clinician, therefore the information needs to be credible up to date and sourced from evidence-based clinical medicine and applicable to the Australian context.
You should demonstrate high level of knowledge of medical terminology and advanced concepts of patho physiological and physiological principles.
